3,5-二叔丁基水杨醛是一种有机中间体,可以通过一步反应从2,4-二叔丁基苯酚为原料制得。已有文献报道指出,该化合物可用于制备二甲基乙二胺基叔丁基苯酚和(S,S)-salenCo(Ⅱ)催化剂。
应用在500mL茄型瓶中,加入2,4-二叔丁基苯酚(50mmol)、多聚甲醛(500mmol)、氢氧化钠(150mmol)、三乙胺(100mmol)和四氢呋喃(100mL),在90℃下加热回流搅拌反应。通过TLC跟踪反应进程,待反应完成后降至室温。向反应液中加入盐酸,搅拌直至反应液澄清,分层后用水相用乙酸乙酯萃取,合并有机相并用饱和食盐水洗涤,无水硫酸钠干燥,过滤,旋去溶剂,柱层析(正己烷:乙酸乙酯=30:1)提纯,最终得到产物10.56g,产率为90.16%。

化学性质淡黄色至黄色结晶粉末。
用途主要用于制备一种Schiff碱配体,用于对映选择的铜催化的苯乙炔至亚胺的反应过程中。同时也可用于制备手性恶唑烷。
