辛二酸可以应用于涂料、胶粘剂、光敏固化剂、塑料改性、纤维处理和皮革加工以及橡胶等众多领域。
将0.7 mmol α-硝基酮溶解在4.2 mL甲醇中,然后加入1 N NaOH溶液中的5 ml 0.5 M Na2HPO4的水溶液。将所得混合物加热至70°C反应1到4小时后,向冷溶液(室温)中加入1.75 mmol Oxone的3 mL水溶液。4小时后,用10 mL盐水稀释混合物,并用10%盐酸调节pH值至2。随后使用乙酸乙酯(EtOAc)进行萃取(共三次,每次20 mL)。将合并后的有机层用盐水(10 ml)洗涤,Na2SO4干燥并蒸发,最终得到辛二酸,产率为99%。

主要与二元醇和二元胺反应,生成聚酯和聚酰胺。用于制备特殊耐高温聚合物,并在有机合成中应用广泛。还用作制药中间体。
1. 烟草:OR 44;BU 26;合成:由氧化蓖麻油或蓖麻油酸或环辛烷制得。
2. 制法:
在反应瓶中加入搅拌器和回流冷凝器,放入136克(1.0 mol)的辛二腈(2),再加入1800毫升50%质量分数的硫酸。加热回流反应10小时后冷却,析出固体。过滤,并用水洗涤,最后用丙酮重结晶得到辛二酸(1),熔点141-142℃,收率为90%。([1])
