Piperlongumine(PPLGM、Piplartine)是一种存在于荜茇中的天然生物碱。它能够增加活性氧物种(ROS)水平,并选择性地杀死癌细胞。同时,Piperlongumine还是TrxR1的直接抑制剂,对胃癌具有抑制作用;作为一种新型CRM1抑制剂,在人类乳腺癌细胞中可抑制PI3K/Akt/mTOR信号通路。

Piperlongumine是一种已知的ROS诱导剂,能够诱导胰腺癌细胞凋亡。作为一种血栓素A2受体拮抗剂,它抑制了血小板聚集。此外,Piperlongumine还通过抑制Akt/mTOR信号通路促进了细胞自噬,并介导了肿瘤细胞死亡。
体内研究在动物模型中,给予Piperlongumine(50 mg/kg 腹腔注射)能够抑制体内肿瘤的生长,而不会改变生物化学、血液学及组织病理学参数。

Through ABPP, piperlongumine was identified to induce cancer cell death by covalently binding and inhibiting GSTO1 and has a broad spectrum synergistic effect with other anti-cancer agents.
