制备方法与用途

用途

3-羟基-4-碘苯甲醛在常温常压下为白色至灰白色的固体。它是一种苯甲醛类衍生物，长时间存放会被空气氧化生成相应的苯甲酸类化合物。该物质常用作医药化学和有机合成中的中间体，可用于合成除草剂和植物生长调节剂。

合成方法

将干燥的3-羟基-2,4,6-三碘苯甲醛、干燥的吡啶以及催化量的水加入到干燥的反应瓶中，搅拌均匀后在回流状态下进行反应4小时。反应结束后，在真空条件下浓缩混合物，并通过硅胶柱层析色谱法纯化残留物。使用石油醚和乙酸乙酯（体积比为4:1）作为洗脱剂即可得到目标产品3-羟基-4-碘苯甲醛。
