2-溴-4'-甲基苯乙酮属于苯乙酮类衍生物,常用于有机化学合成的中间体、纤维树脂等溶剂和塑料的增塑剂。此外,它也可用于制备香皂和农药分子。
制备在干燥的反应瓶中加入N-溴代丁二酰亚胺(1.1当量)和对甲苯磺酸(0.5当量),混合物在55℃下搅拌混合,然后加入苯乙酮(1当量)。混合物在此温度下反应40分钟。通过TLC(己烷/EtOAc,7:3的比例)监测反应进度。反应完成后,用二氯甲烷和水对反应体系进行萃取,分离出有机层并将其干燥,最后浓缩即可得到2-溴-4'-甲基苯乙酮。
