5-甲氧基靛红是一种有机色素类物质,可用作生物染色剂。
合成方法以水为溶剂,在90℃条件下,将5-甲氧基苯胺与水合氯醛及盐酸羟胺反应3.5小时,得到对甲氧基异亚硝基乙酰苯胺,产率可达95%。随后在92℃、75%的浓硫酸条件下进行环合,经水解后得到5-甲氧基靛红,产率为88%。采用此方法合成5-甲氧基靛红,操作简便且高效。
