  A thermal intramolecular endo-selective Diels-Alder reaction with a substituted Feringa-butenolide is described. The structure of the main product is determined by single crystal X-ray analysis. By double activation of the dienophile substructure a dramatic increase in reactivity is reported, which leads to a decrease in reaction temperature by more than 100 degrees C.
