在常温常压下保持稳定,应避免与氧化物接触。
作为紫外线吸收剂,本品主要适用于聚酯、环氧醋酸纤维素、聚氯乙烯、聚苯乙烯、有机玻璃及聚丙烯腈树脂等。最大吸收波长范围为270-380nm。一般用量如下:
应避免阳光直射、高温及潮湿环境,需远离含硫或含卤族元素的光稳定剂,并在密封干燥避光条件下储存。
制备方法首先将对甲苯磺酰氯在碳酸钠存在下与吡啶反应,得到N-对甲苯磺酰基吡啶酮(1)。然后将此中间体与对羟基苯甲酸在氯化锌的存在下缩合,生成UV-P的中间体2-(2-(对甲苯磺酰基)-4-甲氧基苯基)-5-(2-羟基苯基)-1,3,4-噻二唑(2)。最后,在氢氧化钠存在下水解该中间体,得到最终产物2-(2-(对甲苯磺酰基)-4-羟基苯基)-5-(2-羟基苯基)-1,3,4-噻二唑(UV-P)。
