  到EFGH环系统（A合成路线3 gambierol（的）1）中，从分离甲藻海洋聚醚毒素Gambierdiscus toxicus，已经研制成功。本合成的特征在于，基于内酯衍生的烯醇式磷酸酯的B-烷基Suzuki反应，F和H环会聚偶联，随后G环闭环。通过用三甲基铝处理砜32，立体选择性地引入C 23处的角甲基。在C21叔醇的安装是通过的stereoselcetive二羟基化来实现外-亚甲基36接着通过初级的选择性形成p-甲苯磺酸盐和用氢化铝锂处理所得的单甲苯磺酸盐40。最后，以内酯形式形成E环完成了3的合成。
