Light-mediated [1,3] sigmatropic shift of chromeno-5-methyl-2,6,9-trioxabicyclo[3.3.1]nonadienes to yield chromeno-3-methyl-2,6,9-trioxabicyclo[3.3.1]nonadienes was reported.
