MMPSI是一种有效的选择性小分子半胱天冬酶3和7抑制剂,其对人半胱天冬酶3的IC50值为1.7μM。研究表明,MMPSI能够显著减少缺血再灌注引起的离体兔心脏梗死面积,并降低缺血心肌及离体心肌细胞的凋亡率。因此,MMPSI可以用于心脏保护的研究中。
