丹明B酰肼是一种优秀的亚硫酸盐探针,无色且不具荧光特性。其与亚硫酸盐浓度相关,检测范围为5-800 ng/mL(检出限为1.4 ng/mL)。亚硫酸盐能还原溶解氧生成超氧化物自由基,后者可与罗丹明B酰肼结合形成罗丹明B。在亚硫酸盐存在的条件下,罗丹明B酰肼会在荧光方面表现出类似罗丹明B的特性。 Tween 80表面活性剂胶束能够增强这种荧光。丹明B酰肼在554 nm处吸收峰最大,在574 nm处荧光发射最强[1]。
