Abstract - 2 H-Labelled α-ionylideneethanol was efficiently incorporated into the 1′,4′- trans -diol of ABA via (1′R)-4′ S -hydroxy-α-ionylideneacetic acid by Cercospora pini-densiflorae , and 2 H-labelled α-ionylideneacetic acid was incorporated into 1′-deoxyABA via (1′ R )-4′ R -hydroxy-α-ionylideneacetic acid.
