Allenoates prove competence in the synthesis of itaconic acid derivatives and tri-carboxylated compounds via site-selective electrochemical fixation of one or two molecules of CO2 (yields up to 87 %). Complete chemodivergency is realized via dedicated electrolytic conditions optimization.
