A set of six solid-supported diarylprolinol catalysts (varying on the anchoring strategy and the type of polymeric support) has been prepared and applied to the enantioselective cyclopropanation reaction. The selected candidate allows implementation of a long flow experiment (48 h) and generates a library of 12 cyclopropanes by sequential flow experiments. The mildness and utility of the method have

A new superparamagneticnanoparticle-supported (S)-diphenylprolinol trimethylsilylether (Jørgensen–Hayashi catalyst) was synthesized and applied for the asymmetricMichaeladdition of aldehydes to nitroalkenes in water, which gives products in moderate to good yields (up to 96%), good enantioselectivity (up to 90% ee) and diastereoselectivities (up to 99:1). The immobilized catalyst could be easily

beam induced preirradiation grafting using styrene as comonomer. The polymer-supportedchiralligands were utilized as catalysts in the asymmetric addition of diethylzinc to benzaldehyde. Fiber-bound titanium TADDOLate gave a quantitative conversion of benzaldehyde to 1-phenylpropan-1-ol in a 97:3 S/R enantiomeric ratio. The catalyst was successfully regenerated and employed in subsequent reactions with

The design and synthesis of a heterogeneous bifunctional chiral catalyst for the sequential aerobic oxidationâasymmetric Michael reactions between primary allylic alcohols and dibenzyl malonate are described. Interestingly, we found that layering bimetallic nanoparticles over the organocatalyst, within the chiral composite material, is crucial for catalytic activity.
