2-(4-基苯基)-1,1,1,3,3,3-六氟-2-丙醇可用来制备双酚AF。双酚AF(即六双酚A:2,2-双(4-羟基苯基)六氟丙烷),主要用于作为橡胶促进剂

制备

在四颈瓶中,将0.02摩尔对甲苯磺酸加入到0.1摩尔苯胺中,并用氮气置换。加热至一定温度后,在搅拌下缓慢滴加0.3摩尔HFA·3H₂O(约需30分钟滴加完毕)。滴加完成后,继续在110℃回流8小时后停止反应,冷却至室温凝结成白色固体。加入乙醚溶解,过滤并洗涤滤液。将滤液通过旋转蒸发去除乙醚及其他低沸点物质,并进行干燥处理,最终得到2-(4-基苯基)-1,1,1,3,3,3-六氟-2-丙醇粗品。该方法的收率为90.2%(通过GC-MS测定),纯度达到97.9%。
