  在催化量的原位生成的Ti 0的存在下，全氟烷基碘化物在二甲氧基乙烷溶剂中加到烯烃中，以中等至良好的收率得到1-（正全氟烷基）-2-碘代烷烃。含有溴或酯取代基的1-烯烃，1-炔烃和烯烃与正全氟烷基碘的产率为1：1。含有酮或醇基团的1-烯烃给出了1：1加合物的低收率。1：1的加合物的还原很容易完成，整个过程适合于一瓶法。用二烯丙基醚，以良好的产率获得四氢呋喃衍生物。该反应被对-二硝基苯完全抑制，而部分被加尔维诺尔抑制。提出了单电子转移机理。
