Two novel glycosides, latrunculinosides A and B, containing substituted 2-oxecanones (decalactones) were isolated from Latrunculia corticata collected in the Gulf of Aqaba, Israel. They were characterized by spectroscopic methods, predominantly 1H NMR, 13C NMR, MS, IR and UV, and by chemical degradation.
