Synthesis of Pyrrolnitrin and Related Halogenated Phenylpyrroles
摘要:
A general approach to halogenated arylpyrroles, Including the antifungal natural product pyrrolnitrin, is described using newly synthesized halogenated pyrroles and 2,6-disubstituted nitrobenzenes or 2,6-disubstituted anilines.
A dramatic enhancing effect of InBr3 was observed towards the oxidative Sonogashira cross-coupling reaction of 2-ethynylaniline with (E)-trimethyl(3,3,3-trifluoroprop-1-enyl)silane.
The selective monobromination of various deactivated anilines using potassium bromide and sodiumperborate as oxidant has been achieved. The use of ammonium molybdate as catalyst accelerates the rate of reaction but is not essential to obtain good yields and high selectivities.

correlate with the natural product. The approach enlists a powerful Pd(0)-mediated indole annulation for the key macrocyclization of the complex core peptide, utilizes an underdeveloped class of hypervalent iodine(III) aryl substrates in a palladium-catalyzed C-H activation/β-arylation reaction conducted on a lysine derivative, and provides access to material with which the role of streptide and related

complexes of ligands bearing methyl substituents close to the metal (3X). The synergistic effect of combining inter-ion interactions and liganddesign enables emission tuning from orange to yellow, in the opposite (hypsochromic) direction compared to employing either strategy on its own. These effects can be attributed to differences in molecular packing, in particular to the combined impact of ligand structure
