  Abstract Phytochemical examination of Aristolochia triangularis led to the isolation of allantoin, nerolidol, sitosterol, dibenzylbutyrolactone type lignans and ent -kaurane type diterpenes. This is the first report on the isolation of ent -kaurane from a natural source.
