N-乙烯基咔唑是一种重要的含氮芳杂环化合物,具有特殊的光电特性。与有机光电功能材料的性能比较相符,具备较强的分子内电子转移功能,且热稳定性较好,广泛用于液晶显示材料以及医药中间体,是合成光电材料的重要中间体。
制备固体超强碱Na-NaOH/γ-Al2O3的制备:在反应釜中加入100g γ-Al2O3,在强烈搅拌和氮气吹扫条件下,缓慢升温至100℃,保持1小时脱除载体表面吸附水。再将温度升至200℃,继续进行强搅拌并在氮气环境下加入30g NaOH,持续1小时后,快速添加10g金属钠,继续搅拌1小时。冷却后得到固体超强碱Na-NaOH/γ-Al2O3催化剂。
将34g咔唑、0.68g催化剂Na-NaOH/γ-Al2O3和200mL二甲苯加入至反应器中。启动加热搅拌器,使三者混合均匀,并加热至135℃。在常压条件下通过导气管通入乙炔气体,控制流速为30mL/min,直到液面有轻微气泡冒出。8小时后将反应液冷却至室温,过滤分离出液相和固相催化剂。回收的固体催化剂可重复使用;液相部分减压蒸馏,在154℃收集N-乙烯基咔唑产品31.4g,收率为83%。
利用上述回收获得的催化剂再次用于催化咔唑与乙炔反应中,在相同条件下得到最终产物N-乙烯基咔唑30.4g。
