The present invention relates to a composition for pain, containing a fraction obtained by solvent fractionation of a Zanthoxylum piperitum leaf extract. More specifically, a solvent fraction isolated from Zanthoxylum piperitum leaves suppresses all of pain, inflammation and arthritis in a pain-induced animal model, an inflammation-induced model and an arthritis-induced model and, with respect to molecular markers related thereto, exhibits very excellent expression and suppression patterns, thereby being usable in a pharmaceutical composition that is very effective in the treatment of pain- and inflammation-based arthritis.
