  Diastereoselective synthesis of the carbacephem framework

  摘要：

  A short, versatile, and diastereoselective method of preparing carbacephems has been developed. The procedure involves as a key step the aldol condensation of a protected glycine compound with a suitably designed aldehyde. In this step, most of the carbon skeleton of the carbacephem is assembled, and the two stereocenters of the final bicyclic beta-lactam are set. This step also provides well-placed and synthetically useful functionality for further elaboration into the desired target.

The reaction has been shown to be catalyzed by 2,6-di(tert.butyl)pyridine reagents to triple the reported yield.

  The present invention describes a combined liquid absorbent system to capture gaseous CO 2 . The said combination is given by the mixture of an IL and an amino acid aqueous solution. This mixture has an improved CO 2 absorption performance with respect to the separate components that are part of it. These components can be regenerated and reused in several absorption cycles without losing absorption capacity.
