Four geometrical steroisomers of 3,7,11-trimethyldodeca-2,6,10-triene have been synthesized. The PMR and 13C NMR spectra of these compounds provide important information on the geometry of Me substituted double bonds, while the mass spectra distinguish (E and Z,E)-isomers from (E and Z,Z)-isomers.
