The present invention provides a method for producing a compound represented by Formula (1) or a salt thereof, the method comprising the steps of: (I) causing an organic borane reagent to act on a compound represented by Formula (2) or a salt thereof, and (II) performing an intramolecular cyclization reaction of the reaction product of step (I) above using a zerovalent palladium catalyst in the presence of an alkali metal hydroxide.
