制备方法与用途

化学性质
白色或微黄色粉末,不溶于苯、甲苯和乙醚,易溶于氯仿。

用途
用作聚氯乙烯悬浮聚合的引发剂。此外,它也是一种高效聚合物引发剂,并用于橡胶硫化促进剂。

生产方法
通过将苯酚与烧碱配制成苯酚钠,再与氯乙醇反应生成2-苯氧基乙醇;然后与光气合成氯甲酸2-苯氧基乙酯,最后与过氧化钠反应制得引发剂BPPD。工业品中BPPD含量≥85%。

    The multifunctional compound is represented by formula X-C(R)RF-Y, in which X and Y are each independently -C(O)-O-M, -C(O)-HAL, -C(O)-NR1 2, -C≡N, -C(O)NR1-SO2-Rf 1-W, or a fluorinated alkenyl group that is optionally interrupted by one or more -O- groups. HAL is -F, -Cl, or -Br. Rf 1 is a fluorinated alkylene group that is optionally interrupted by one or more -O- groups. W is -F, -SO2Z, -CF=CF2, -O-CF=CF2, or -O-CF2-CF=CF2. Z is -F, - Cl, -NR1 2, or -OM. Each R1 is a hydrogen atom or alkyl having up to four carbon atoms. M is an alkyl group, a trimethylsilyl group, a hydrogen atom, a metallic cation, or a quaternary ammonium cation. R is a bromine, chloride, fluorine or hydrogen atom; and RF is a fluorinated alkenyl group that is unsubstituted or substituted by at least one chlorine atom, aryl group, or a combination thereof or RF is a fluorinated alkyl group or arylalkylenyl group that is substituted by bromine or iodine and uninterrupted or interrupted by at least one -O- group.     Novel peroxydicarbonates are provided in which the alkyl carbonate moiety is 2-alkyl-2-phenyl substituted. The compounds are useful as polymerization initiators of ethylenically unsaturated monomers, such as vinyl chloride, and as catalysts of unsaturated polyester resins. The subject peroxydicarbonates are characterized in that they are solid at room temperature, have ambient temperature stability in spite of a low 10 hour half-life temperature, and can normally be transported and stored without refrigeration.

    @ Low density foams are prepared from an admixture which comprises a medium which is polymerizable and/or crosslinkable by free radical initiation, a t-alkylhydrazinium salt blowing agent, a peroxide curing agent, a suitable surfactant, and at least one transition metal salt promoter wherein at least one of the metal salts is a compound of iron or copper. The t-alkylhydrazinium salt blowing agent in the presence of an effective amount of the transitional metal salt promoter improves the efficiency of the process.

    A process for forming a copolymer of styrene and butadiene in which an aqueous mixture comprising water, styrene monomer, butadiene monomer, a suspension stabilizing agent, and a chain-propagating amount of a free radical polymerization initiator insoluble in water, soluble in the styrene monomer and soluble in the butadiene monomer is heated in an inert atmosphere to a temperature between about 50°C and about 130°C in the absence of redox initiators and mercaptan compounds until the monomers form an aqueous suspension of discrete copolymer particles having a Tg value of between about 45°C and 65°C and a weight average molecular weight of between about 10,000 and about 250,000. Increased molecular weight distribution of the final copolymer may be achieved by introducing additional styrene monomer, butadiene monomer, suspension stabilizing agent and initiator to the aqueous mixture at least once during the heating step. Optimum yields are achieved by heating the aqueous mixture with at least two different initiators in accordance with a predetermined multistage heating profile.

    A copolymer composition, especially suited for fabricating optical lenses comprising a copolymer of copolymerized comonomers which include about one to about forty percent by weight of an acryloxyalkylsilanol; about one to about seventy five percent by weight of a polyacryloxyalkylpolysiloxane; about one to about seventy five percent by weight of an siloxy substituted ester of acrylic or methacrylic acid; and from about one to about 35 percent by weight of an alkyl or cycloalkyl acrylate or methacrylate having from one to twenty carbon atoms. Contact lenses and contact lens buttons are formed of such copolymer of copolymerized comonomers by conventional techniques, by injection molding, and by compression molding.
