  The first total synthesis of (−)-bicubebin A, and two previously unreported dilignans, (−)-bicubebin B and (+)-bicubebin C has been achieved through the dimerization of (−)-cubebin, confirming the structure and absolute stereochemistry of (−)-bicubebin A.
