Rats given 1g/kg of 1-pentanol (0.25 g at 15-min intervals) by intraperitoneal injection showed a peak blood concentration of about 21 mg% 1 hr after dosing started and disappearance from the blood after 3.5 hr. Only 0.88% and 0.29% were excreted in the expired air and urine, respectively. Rats given a 2-g/kg oral dose of 1-pentanol had a peak blood concentration of 20 to 25 mg% in 1 hour and essentially none after 4 hr. No alcohol was detected in the urine.

制备方法与用途

简介

戊醇是一种无色液体，具有轻微气味，微溶于水，并能与乙醇、乙醚等多种有机溶剂混溶。

理化性质

戊醇的化学式为C5H11OH，分子量88.15。它存在八种异构体：除2,2-二甲基-1-丙醇是固体外，其余均为无色液体。其中三种是正戊烷的衍生物，四种是异戊烷的衍生物，还有一种是四甲基甲烷的衍生物。

杂醇油中含有的3-甲基-1-丁醇即为异戊醇，以及2-甲基-1-丁醇即旋光性戊醇。其中，3-甲基-1-丁醇是一种无色且带有不愉快气味的液体，并具有毒性；其密度为0.813（15℃），熔点为-117℃，沸点为132℃，微溶于水，与乙醇和乙醚混溶。这种化合物主要用于制备药物及作为溶剂。

2-甲基-1-丁醇是一种无色液体，密度为0.816，沸点为128℃，同样微溶于水，并能与乙醇、乙醚混溶；其左旋体的[α]D20值为-4.75°。戊醇的酯类（如乙酸戊酯）可用作香料或溶剂。

用途

戊醇广泛应用于有机合成，用作涂料溶剂和医药原料，并作为非铁金属浮选剂及锅炉用水止泡剂；此外还用于制造乙酸戊酯。与其他溶剂混合后，可用于硝基喷漆的助溶剂，也可从木材中提取松脂。

毒性

戊醇属于低毒类物质。大鼠经口LD50值：3-戊醇为1.87g/kg，2-甲基-2-丁醇为1g/kg。在接触浓度为28.8g/m³（接近饱和蒸气）的戊醇中，大鼠未见死亡现象。兔子皮肤接触24小时后，3-戊醇LD50值为2.52ml/kg。吸入戊醇蒸汽会导致眼睛和上呼吸道刺激症状、头痛、眩晕、呼吸困难、呕吐腹泻及复视等症状；长期经口染毒可能会对肝脏造成损害。少数大鼠经口或皮下给予异戊醇后，可见恶性肿瘤发生率增加。
