制备方法与用途

理化性质

2-乙基己酸锌又称异辛酸锌、亚辛酸锌,是一种淡黄色均匀透明的液体。其密度为1.17 g/cm³。与传统环烷酸锌相比,异辛酸锌具有色泽浅、气味小及含量高的特点。

用途与作用

本产品广泛应用于聚氨酯涂料及弹性体作为催化剂,能促进脂肪族异氰酸酯的交联反应,缩短固化时间。此外,它还用作PVC塑料热稳定剂。

另外,2-乙基己酸锌也是涂料中优秀的润湿剂和分散剂,可应用于悬浮剂、消光剂、船底漆防污剂等;在油墨中作为胶凝剂;用于油品添加剂;防腐、防霉剂等领域。

沉淀法制备异辛酸锌

沉淀法是通过皂化反应与复分解反应制备异辛酸锌。具体步骤如下:

  1. 第一步:生成钠皂
    将氢氧化钠和异辛酸混合,进行皂化反应生成异辛酸钠(RCOO Na),反应方程式为: [ RCOOH + NaOH = RCOONa + H_2O ] 其中 (R) 代表 CH₃(CH₂)₃CH(C₂H₅)。

  2. 第二步:生成异辛酸锌
    使用硫酸锌溶液置换钠皂,生成异辛酸锌。反应方程式如下: [ 2RCOONa + ZnSO_4 = Zn(RCOO)_2 + Na_2SO_4 ] 其中 (R) 同上。

合成步骤:
  1. 在反应器中加入一定量的异辛酸和氢氧化钠溶液,搅拌升温至一定温度进行皂化反应。
  2. 加入适量矿物油和硫酸锌溶液,在充分搅拌下进行反应。
  3. 反应完全后,静置分层,分离出下层水相,并用热水清洗上层油层2~3次。分析洗液中锌的含量。
  4. 上层油相经减压蒸馏脱水即可得到异辛酸锌产品。测定其锌的含量以计算相应产品的收率。
毒性及卫生性

2-乙基己酸锌对皮肤和黏膜有刺激作用。根据GB 9685-2008的规定,最大使用量分别为塑料PE、PP中为1.0%;PS中为0.1%;在黏合剂、纸中的用量按生产需要适量使用;特定迁移量(以锌计)不大于25.0 mg/kg。

用途

主要用作涂料催干剂,尤其是在白漆中表现出更好的特性。
