A tweezer-type bis(zinc porphyrin) bridged by benzo orthocarbonates was synthesized and applied as a molecular conformational switch under regulation of DABCO and a Cu+ ion. The switch property has been confirmed by H-1 NMR, UV-vis spectral titration, and HR-MS spectra method.
