and their physiologically acceptable salts or solvates are integrin inhibitors and can be employed for combating thromboses, cardiac infarction, coronary heart diseases, arteriosclerosis, inflammations, tumours, osteoporosis, rheumatic arthritis, macular degenerative disease, diabetic retinopathy, infections and restenosis after angioplasty or in pathological processes maintained or propagated by angiogenesis.
The present invention relates to benzonaphthyridinamines of the formula (I) as autotaxin inhibitors and to the use thereof in the treatment and/or prophylaxis of physiological and/or pathophysiological conditions in which the inhibition, regulation and/or modulation of phosphodiesterase or lysophospholipase autotaxin plays a role, in particular of various types of cancer and autoimmune and inflammatory diseases.

A promiscuous UDP-sugar pyrophosphorylase (BLUSP) was cloned from Bifidobacterium longum strain ATCC55813 and used efficiently with a Pasteurella multocida inorganic pyrophosphatase (PmPpA) with or without a monosaccharide 1-kinase for one-pot multienzyme synthesis of UDP-galactose, UDP-glucose, UDP-mannose, and their derivatives. Further chemical diversification of a UDP-mannose derivative resulted in the formation of UDP-N-acetylmannosamine.
