Natural (+)-camphene was used as the starting material for the preparation of an isobornyloxy-substituted cyclopentadienyl ligand in a simple two-step procedure. (-)-Menthol and (+)-fenchol were converted to analogous chiral cyclopentadienyl ligands in a four-step procedure. The new ligands contain an ether linkage suitable for bidentate chelation to a transition metal.
The present invention relates to a fragrance composition to be incorporated within core shell capsules preferably formaldehyde melamine and optionally urea capsules in order to reduce fragrance leakage from the capsules on storage in liquid, gel and soft solid household, laundry and personal care products and cosmetics which contain surfactants and/or solvents.
The fragrance composition of the invention comprises:
I) 60-100% by weight of at least 5 fragrance compounds fragrance compounds. 20-100% by weight of said fragrance compounds being comprised of at least 3 compounds having a molecular weight less than 325 atomic mass units.

The invention relates to a fragrance composition to be incorporated into the core of a core shell type microcapsule which comprises by weight of the composition:
A) 20-100% of at least one cyclic fragrance material with a density between 0.950 g/cm3 and 1.500 g/cm3 and a ClogP between 1.00 and 6.00;
B) 0-80% of at least one fragrance material with a density between 0.630 g/cm3 and 0.950 g/cm3;
C) 0-50% of at least one oil soluble organic compound having a density between 0.950 g/cm3 and 1.500g/cm3,
where the sum of A), B) and C) equals 100%.
Application: microcapsules containing a fragrance composition of the invention to be used in liquid consumer products.
The present disclosure discloses a novel microcapsule which is endowed for example with reduced leakage of encapsulated materials. The microcapsule contains one or more fragrances and is suitable for inclusion in non-edible consumer goods products, laundry products, personal care products and cosmetic products. The microcapsule can be obtained in an economic and efficient manner by polymerizing an emulsion so that emulsion droplets are encapsulated into a subsequently cured polymeric shell.
The present invention relates to a composition having improved or enhanced fidelity and/or longevity of the fragrance profile, comprising fragrance materials in a diamond construction and at least one substantially non-odorous fragrance modulator. The invention also relates to methods of use of the compositions for perfuming suitable substrates, including hard surfaces and body parts, particularly skin and hair.
