A series of 6,8-disubstituted chrysin derivatives have been synthesized and evaluated for their PGE2 inhibitory activities. 6,8-Disubstituted chrysin derivatives were obtained from naturally occurring chrysin by halogenation, oxidation, thiomethylation and C-C cross coupling reaction.
