  本发明提供了一种法尼醛的制备方法，包括：法尼醇在催化剂和氧化剂的作用下在有机溶剂中发生氧化反应，得到法尼醛；所述催化剂为Cu或含铜化合物。本发明还提供了一种陪瑞维A酸的制备方法。本发明以金属铜或含铜化合物为催化剂催化法尼醇氧化成法尼醛，不仅催化效率较高、反应条件温和，而且制备的法尼醛纯度和收率较高，无需纯化可以直接用于后续反应进行陪瑞维A酸的制备。另外，本发明提供的法尼醛的制备方法绿色无污染，可实现工业化生产。实验结果表明，本发明提供的方法制备的法尼醛收率在85％以上，纯度在95％以上。实验结果表明，本发明提供的方法制备的陪瑞维A酸粗品的纯度可达98％以上，经过重结晶精制后纯度可达99％以上。
