An extruded article is adapted for use in containment and/or transport of water that contains chlorine dioxide, chlorine, chloramines, or hypochlorites. The extruded article includes a polyethylene resin and an antioxidant. The antioxidant is a thioester, a hindered amine light stabilizer or 1,3,5-trimethyl-2,4,6-tris (3,5-di-tert-butyl-4-hydroxybenzyl) benzene.
