用途

该物质主要用于制药工业，在生物制剂（如人血白蛋白）中含有辛酸钠，作为非活性成分。在生物方面，高级酸盐通常用于菌种的特殊选育，因为盐类比高级酸具有更好的溶解性，并且更易于调节pH值。例如，在选育能够降解辛酸的细菌时，需要将辛酸钠加入到培养基中。
