library of halogen‐free photosensitizers (PS) based on orthogonal boron dipyrromethene (BODIPY) dimers are reported. Herein we establish key structural factors in order to enhance singlet oxygen generation by judiciously choosing the substitution patterns according to key electronic effects and synthetic accessibility factors.
