Efficient copper‐catalyzed aerobic oxidative CH and CC functionalization of 1‐[2‐(arylamino)aryl]ethanones leading to acridones has been developed. The procedure involves cleavage of aromatic CH and acetyl CC bonds with intramolecular formation of a diarylketone bond.
