The binuclear Pt(II) complexes bridged by thieno[3,2-b]thiophenes were prepared and their redox behavior was measured by cyclic voltammetry. The complexes showed two one-electron quasi-reversible waves and their first redox potentials are comparable with that of ferrocene.
