  Described are polyalkylbicylic chemical derivatives for use a fragrance ingredients having the generic structure: 1 wherein m=0 or 1; wherein X is methyl or hydrogen; wherein R 1 , R 2 , R 3 and R 4 each represents methyl or ethyl with the proviso that when X is methyl, each of R 1 , R 2 , R 3 and R 4 is methyl and when X is hydrogen, one of R 1 , R 2 , R 3 and R 4 is ethyl; and wherein R 6 represents hydrogen or methyl.
