  The four-component domino reactions of (E)-3-(dimethylamino)-1-arylprop-2-en-1-ones with anilines, aromatic aldehydes, and 1,3-cyclohexanediones in an equimolar ratio in acetic acid afforded functionalized tetrahydroquinolones in good yields.
