The first electrochemical functionalisation of cubane by oxidative decarboxylative ether formation (Hofer-Moestreaction) was demonstrated. The mild conditions are compatible with the presence of other oxidisable functional groups, and the use of flow electrochemical conditions allows straightforward upscaling
