  Aromatisch-aliphatische Ketone der Formeln I, II, III oder IV worin n 1 oder 2 ist, Ar ein Arylrest ist, R' und R2 einwertige aliphatische, cycloaliphatische oder araliphatische Reste sind, R3 eine direkte Bindung oder ein zweiwertiger organischer Rest ist, X eine Hydroxyl-, oder Aminogruppe oder deren einwertige Verätherungs- oder Silylierungsprodukte und X' eine zweiwertige Amin-, Äther- oder Siloxygruppe darstellen, Y eine direkte Bindung oder CH2 ist und Z O, S, SO2, CH2 oder C(CH3)2 bedeutet, sind als Initiatoren für die Photopolymerisation ungesättigter Verbindungen sowie für die photochemische Vernetzung von Polyolefinen geeignet.
