Abstract In present study, we have synthesized two homologous series of some new Schiff base of 4-n-alkoxy-2-hydroxy benzaldehyde (n = 2–8, 10, 12, 14, 16, 18) with 4-amino acetanilide and their corresponding Cu(II) complexes.
