The present invention relates to compounds acting both as muscarinic receptor antagonists and beta2 adrenergic receptor agonists, to processes for their preparation, to compositions comprising them, to therapeutic uses and combinations with other pharmaceutical active ingredients.
The present invention relates to compounds of alkylidene pyrazolidinedione derivatives, which are effective platelet ADP receptor antagonists that prevent platelet aggregation and thrombosis. Thus, the present invention also relates to pharmaceutical compositions that contain the compounds as well as methods of preventing or treating peripheral, visceral, hepatic, renal, cardio- and cerebro-vascular diseases and conditions that are associated with platelet aggregation, including thrombosis, in humans and other mammals. The present invention further provides a process for manufacturing the alkylidene pyrazolidinedione derivatives.
Disclosed are novel compounds that are useful in regulating the expression of interleukin-6 (IL-6) and/or vascular cell adhesion molecule-1 (VCAM-1), and their use in the treatment and/or prevention of cardiovascular and inflammatory diseases and related disease states, such as, for example, atherosclerosis, asthma, arthritis, cancer, multiple sclerosis, psoriasis, and inflammatory bowel diseases, and autoimmune disease(s). Also, disclosed are compositions comprising the novel compounds, as well as methods for their preparation.
