A series of 2-(5-(2-chloro-6-methylquinolin-3-yl)-3-(aryl)-4,5-dihydro-1H-pyrazol-1-yl)thiazol-4(5H)ones (4a–l) were synthesized and characterized by IR, 1H NMR, 13C NMR, and mass spectra. All the synthesized compounds were tested for their in vitro antimicrobial activity against Escherichia coli (MTCC 443), Pseudomonas aeruginosa (MTCC 1688), Staphylococcus aureus (MTCC 96), Streptococcus pyogenes
