An approach to multicomponent coordination-driven self-assembly of the first terpyridine-based, shape-persistent, giant two-dimensional D(6h) supramacromolecular spokedwheel is reported. Direct bromination of wide range of aromaticcompounds substituted with electron donating groups such as methoxy, hydroxy, or amino groups have been achieved with high regioselectivity by the reaction with Br2 in the presence of tetrabutylammonium peroxydisulfate 1 under mild conditions in acetonitrile in excellent yields. The use of lithium bromide as a bromination reagent afforded high yields of
solvents because of the tight stacks of multiple MoS2 nanosheets. Here we report that V‐shaped polyaromaticcompounds with non‐ionic side chains can efficiently exfoliate and disperse the inorganic nanosheets. Simple grinding and sonication (less than total 1 h) of MoS2 powder with the V‐shaped compounds gave rise to large MoS2 nanosheets highly dispersed in NMP through efficient host‐guest S–π interactions
