phosphorotetrazolide (2) was a highly efficient phosphorylating agent for the synthesis of 5′-O-dimethoxytrityl-2′-O-tetrahydropyranylnucleoside 3′-(4-chlorophenyl, 5-chloro-8-quinolyl) phosphates (4). The fully protected ribonucleoside 3′-phosphotriesters 4 are key intermediates for the synthesis of oligoribonucleotides via phosphotriesterapproach.
