  [FR] Cette invention concerne une méthode de cyclopropanation d'un alcène substitué, consistant à faire réagir l'alcène avec un carbenoide obtenu à partir de dibromométhane et d'un composé aluminium tri-(C2 - C8)-alkyl, en présence d'une dose catalytique d'un composé métallique pris dans le groupe composés d'acides de Lewis, de métallocènes et de complexes de carbonyle métallique. Cette méthode offre l'avantage d'utiliser des composés de métal de transition comme catalyseurs et permet de récupérer le dibromométhane. Elle convient tout particulièrement pour la préparation d'ingrédients destinés à l'industrie des arômes et des parfums.
