Abstract N,N′-Disubstituted ureas and thioureas containing a 1,1,7-trimethylbicyclo[2.2.1]heptan-2-yl substituent were synthesized in up to 99% yields by the reaction of exo-(R or S)-1,1,7-trimethylbicyclo[2.2.1]heptan-2-amine with aromatic isocyanates and isothiocyanates with the goal of comprehensive estimation of enantiomeric stereospecificity of human soluble epoxide hydrolase (hsEH).
